Coldplay (August 2025).
Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour finished up with a record ten nights at Wembley, and on a Wednesday at the end of August we were at one of them.
Whatever you think of Coldplay, and everyone has an opinion, nobody does a stadium show like they do. Everyone gets a light-up wristband on the way in, and when Yellow starts the whole stadium turns yellow at once. That's the moment.
The set ran in four acts, from Planets to Home, and had everything: Viva la Vida, Paradise, The Scientist, Clocks, Fix You, A Sky Full of Stars. Then there's the Jumbotron Song, where Chris Martin picks people out of the crowd on the big screen and makes up a song about them on the spot.
Coldplay are Coldplay: technically brilliant, a lot of fun, very positive, and a great show.
